I just bought a G4, which is a century ahead of the rest of the boxes out there and then I bought a Epson 760 printer(USB). Result: good computer, no printing. 3 _before_ you try to add the printer make sure that Classic is _off_. Some Epson printers can be installed when Classic is on, but won't work as OS X printers (though they will work as Classic printers, using the OS 9 drivers if installed) until Classic is turned off.
